Drake House Lodge is located in the town of Los Planes, only twenty minutes walk from the station Plans Corcovado National Park. Our hotel is located on a large estate that includes grasses, well-developed secondary forests and primary forests. There are many trails to explore on the property you deep into the spectacular ancient forests of the Osa Peninsula

Plans is truly a dream for the naturalist. The Drake House Lodge near Corcovado National Park and other private reserves of primary forest gives visitors unprecedented access to the most precious of the Osa Peninsula: its forests and wildlife.

The beach is an hour's walk from the hotel. Visitors will find that the walk itself is as impressive as our pristine beaches. A lot of birds, troops of monkeys, and the primeval forest will accompany visitors to some of the most beautiful and secluded beaches of the Osa Peninsula.

Casa Drake Lodge is located in the small and "tranquilo" town of Los Planes, in "la Península de Osa". Los Planes is in the top of the mountains with wonderfull views of the sea and forest in Drake Bay. We are located 20 minutes from the "Los Planes" Ranger station for the Corcovado national park.

Playa San Josecito, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area is approximately 1.5 hours from Drake House Lodge. Marenco, located on the coast is about 1 hour away and Rio Claro, a spectacular freshwater river, about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. You can walk on your own horse or arrange transportation to all these destinations.
